Instruction to Bidders

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is an intergovernmental organization established in 1951 and is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits both migrants and society.

IOM Iraq is intending to sell at the most competitive price surplus, used or unwanted items as listed below through an auction. These items are in   IOM Warehouse, Erbil located in GAZNA Road (contact 0662112522 if more details is needed on address)

The above Items can be inspected by interested bidders on Monday 17 Jun 2019 (for 4 hours between 9-12 am). Interested bidders are invited to offer their sealed bid for ANY or ALL above Categories; Each LOT must have separate single bid. The Sealed Bids, in an envelope clearly marked “Offer for Purchase of Scrap, followed LOT number such as (Offer for Purchase of Scrap – LOT 1) ", and must be submitted to:

Procurement Tender Box on or before 11:00 AM hours Iraq Time by 20 June 2019. The tender box is located at IOM Office, Building No 319/245-5, Gulan Street of Baharka Street, Next to Hungarian Consulate, Erbil, Iraq. 

Deadline to receive sealed bids is on or before 20 June 2019 at 11 AM. No late bids will be accepted.

General Instructions /Conditions:

  1. All items and equipment are offered for sale on an "AS IS WHERE IS" basis, and without recourse or warranties of any kind.
  2. The bidder should provide their bid on their company letterhead giving all their contact details, and it should be signed and stamped; and original letter should be submitted. In case of an individual: bidder shall include his/her contact details (mobile number, full name and email) in his/her bid letter and they are requested to sign off with an original hand-signature and enclose with their bid the identity document (copy of National ID Card) and their contact details in the letter.
  3. Upon notification, the successful bidder must pay within five (5) working days the purchase price via bank transfer or certified check payable to IOM Iraq. Should the successful bidder fail to arrange payment within five (5) working days, at the discretion of IOM, the items and equipment will be offered to the second highest bidder.

IOM is not bound to accept the highest or any bid under any circumstances.
