JCC Moves to New Location

The Joint Crisis Coordination Centre (JCC) in Erbil has moved to a new location on. the Kirkuk Road right before the intersection of the 120 Meter Road on the right-hand side. The building used to be the traffic police and many of the colleagues from Erbil will know it as the place they went to get their driver’s license or register their car. Erbil, 10th October 2018 - The NGO Coordination Committee for Iraq (NCCI) is deeply saddened by the death of a deminer working for the international Mines Advisory Group (MAG) while undertaking humanitarian clearance operations in Tel Afar district, northwestern Iraq. NCCI’s Executive Director, Aaron Moore said “On behalf of the NGO community in Iraq, I extend my condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, and to his colleagues at MAG. BRUSSELS, 2 November, 2016 - Children fleeing Mosul are arriving at camps petrified, struggling to express themselves, and in some cases too terrified to speak, say World Vision staff based just outside of the city. Two years living under ISIL occupation and facing a litany of dangers while fleeing, such as landmines, snipers and fighters, has taken a toll on children’s physical and mental health.
