Tuesday 10 July 2018 marks one year since the battle for Mosul officially ended.  In the past year, the reconstruction of health facilities has been extremely slow, and Mosul still lacks 70% of its healthcare capacity. There are still less than 1,000 hospital beds for a population of 1.8 million people, well below international standards.  Médecins Sans Frontières is releasing a media pack tomorrow to highlight the urgent need for healthcare support in Mosul. Attached is the press release, and below is a link to broll, photos, staff interviews and war wounded testimonies.
