Rehabilitation, Education and Community Health (REACH) is a non-governmental, non-profit and independent Iraqi organization, conducting its activities in Diyala, Kirkuk, Erbil, Duhok, Ninevah and Sulaimaniya governorates of Iraq. REACH provides humanitarian aid to IDPs, refugees and host communities, by assisting and supporting their efforts to make a difference in their lives and developing their capacity to respond to emergencies with the support of partner agencies. Press Release: A New Emergency Room for Al-Salam Hospital in East Mosul -START- Mosul, December 18 2018 The humanitarian medical organisation Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) completed the construction of a new Emergency Room (ER) in the Al ‘Salam and Al’ Shifa Hospital complex in east Mosul. MSF has been working in collaboration with the Directorate of Health in Ninewa governorate to provide Al ‘Salam Hospital with a fully-equipped and functional ER. This will increase the capacity of the health facility and improve access to high-quality emergency care for the population of East Mosul. The United Iraqi Medical Society Opens New Headquarter in Baghdad. The new headquarter of the United Iraqi Medical Society (UIMS) was opened by Dr. Mahdi Mohsen Al-allaq in Al-Mansour/ Baghdad. With the honored presence of the Kuwaiti Ambassador in Iraq Mr. Salim Al-Zamanan and the NGOs Directorate Mr. Mohammad Taher Al-Tamimi. In his excellency speech, Dr. Mahdi Al-allaq , said: "These years have been bitter due to the entry of terrorist gangs (ISIS) to Iraq.
