Last week, on the 22nd of May, QANDIL staff of WASH project participated in the Communication for Development (C4D) training in Ashti Camp arranged by UNICEF. Topics included interpersonal communication and hygiene promotion. QANDIL facilitated the training of 15 individuals from each of Arbat and Ashti IDP camps selected by Qatar Red Crescent (QRC).
In the same week, QANDIL in partnership with the UNHCR successfully distributed a CRI kits for the total of 300 families residing in Erbil City Center, as well as, distribution of 11 cheques for CRI among newly arrived refugee families in Shawes and Khabat. Furthermore, QANDIL Sulaimanya team distributed bank cheques cash assistance among a total of 181 Syrian refugee families and 145 IDP families all residing in the Sulaymania governorate.
