NCCI launched a research initiative to create an in-depth profile for each of Iraq’s eighteen governorates. Each profile provides unique, useful information for humanitarian workers in/for Iraq, including relevant history, a description of the governorate's population, geography and economy and a humanitarian overview, that is specific to each governorate. If you have suggestions, comments, or additional sources for inclusion in a particular governorate profile, please email our Communications Officer at . The final versions of the eighteen governorate profiles should be made available to NCCI members soon. Governorate profiles that have been completed are indicated in orange below. Click on the name and the profile will download.
